UWP: DOV ZINGERMAN

 

Dov Zingerman, a 59-year-old diving instructor and underwater photographer. As I have been living by the Mediterranean Sea shore for most of my life, I have been attracted to the deep oceans. I took my first diving course when I was 20 years old, and since then, I have never stopped diving and photographing the underwater world. My first camera was a Nikonos ii, and I currently use an Olympus mirrorless camera. I am passionate about macro photography, but I also take normal and wide-angle photos. I believe that capturing these moments will inspire others to learn about the ocean. I spend most of my free time diving and photographing underwater, and I have traveled to many destinations to explore their unique underwater life. My theme is “Live to dive & dive to live.”

I was born and raised all my life in the seaside area 

So since I remember myself I have been attracted to the underwater world. 

Already as a child I used to snorkel at every opportunity and it was clear to me that I will also dive in the future, my romance with the sea also developed into a profession when I entered the saltwater aquarium business where I fell in love with the colorful fish, coral and invertebrate, which brought me to a very extensive level of knowledge about the variety of animals in the sea

I have been diving and photographing underwater since 2010 and I have always been attracted to macro creatures and especially to photograph them.
