SEAN CHINN (UK)

SEAN CHINN

Hi, my names Sean Chinn and I'm from the UK. I 1st got into diving in January 2011 when I done my open water in a cold (3/4.c) quarry in the UK. After a hard weekend in freezing conditions it didn't really fill me with the joy to go diving and I didn't do my first tropical water dive until June 2012 in the Great Barrier Reef. Over the next year or so I added a few more dives but it wasn't until the summer of 2013 when on holiday to Indonesia and diving in Gili Trawangan and Bali with Mantas, turtles and Sharks that I really fell in love with diving and the desire to start underwater photography. With no background in photography I had to start from scratch and with the help of Frogfish Photography and Mark Koekemoer of The underwater camera company I took the plunge into learning underwater photography in September 2013. I haven't looked back since and have also became a rescue diver in 2014 and am always keen to learn and develop my skills. I have been fortunate over the last 2-3 years to travel to some amazing places and dive some amazing sites while taking photos of my journey. Originally I was all about wide angle but after taking up macro in 2015 I have also fell in love with finding the small and wonderful critters the ocean has to offer. I'm hoping to continue learning and sharing my underwater photos throughout my life and hope that you all enjoy what I have to offer. Many thanks for checking out my shots and if you'd like to see more please check out: www.facebook.com/greatwhitesean
