UWP: DAVID CARBO'





































David Carbó, born in Cassà de la Selva (Girona), 15 km from the Mediterranean Sea. Photography enthusiast of all his  life,  but it’s when he starts diving that his dedication to both underwater and land photography increases.
Businessman in the metal sector by profession and diving instructor and amateur underwater photographer. His wife  Gemma Aymerich has a diving center (Oceansub-Estartit) and he has many opportunities to practice underwater photography and share his hobby together, David as a photographer and Gemma as an underwater model.
The first steps in underwater photography were with a compact camera, to move to his first reflex in 2010 and currently to a Canon EOS 5D Mk IV with an Isotta housing.
The lenses used for underwater photography are usually: Canon 8-15L fisheye for ambient photos ( Wide Angle ) and Canon 100L macro for fish photos and macros.
Most of his photos are taken in the Natural Reserve of "Les Illes Medes" and a smaller part in different trips around the world.
