PAUL CANGEMI
Born in 1976 in France, Paul Cangemi grew up far from the sea but he spends all summers at the edge of the Mediterranean sea, enjoying the family home. Initiated an early age apnea by his father, he discovers scuba diving at the age of twelve and he made his first underwater pictures with the firsts waterproof compact. He then began to study medicine during which he will parenthesis his love for the sea, but will continue to be passionate about the photo. It was not until 2012 that he decided to take with him his photographic equipment to capture his encounters underwater. Self-taught, he learned from his mistakes, read a lot about it and dives that during his vacation technically inspired by the greatest underwater photographers. Its purpose is to raise awareness of the marine environment, its beauty and fragility.
