And it is precisely here that from a very young age he began to love the sea, a source of discovery continues for him who loved to spend hours and hours in his sea with the mask to watching the marvelous sea creatures.
Given his great love for the underwater world, he began to practice spearfishing from a very young age and then approached the world of underwater photography by participating in various national Safari Fotosub competitions and underwater photography.
He took his first Open patent in 1985 and in 2016 he became a diving instructor after collecting thousands of dives in Italy and abroad.
He collaborated for a few years with the electronic magazine I LOVE PESCASUB as a photo-video operator, filming and photographing the various champions while performing the Italian Spearfishing Championship.
Becoming increasingly fond of underwater photography, he decided to create a community of underwater photographers, inserting the photo galleries of many great underwater photos on the website / blog: www.uwphotographers.net
And this blog have a great success from the part of all the underwater photographers in the world and becomes a point of reference where to look at the various styles of photographic techniques and the beauty of places and creatures in the various corners of the planet.

With it he organized for several years the "Trofeo ISOTTA", an underwater photography competition open to all underwater photographers.

Great fan of travels and adventures ... In recent years he has explored the depths of Indonesia, Florida, Mexico (Yucatan and Baja California), Red Sea, Malta, Canary Islands, Philippines, Croatia and many different Italian islands and dive sites ...
In 2016 he began working with his great friend Toni Palermo (scuba diving instructor and photographer), in the creation of a diving association named ETNA DIVERS (www.etnadivers.com), and they are in charge of giving diving courses, photography courses diving, diving and Etna excursions and underwater trips.
And among the main objectives, the protection and preservation of the sea and its inhabitants are at heart, often taking care of removing abandoned fishing nets that continue to fish and reap victims.

Giorgio Cavallaro vive e cresce in Sicilia, un isola di grande bellezza e interesse culturale e paesaggistico al centro del Mar Mediterraneo…
Ed è proprio qui che sin da piccolissimo inizia ad amare il mare, una fonte di scoperta continua per lui che amava passare ore e ore immerso con la sua maschera a scrutare le meravigliose creature marine.
Dato il suo grande amore per il mondo sommerso, inizia da giovanissimo a praticare la pesca in apnea per poi avvicinarsi al mondo della fotografia subacquea partecipando a varie competizioni nazionali di Safari Fotosub e fotografia subacquea.
Prende il primo brevetto Open nel 1985 e nel 2016 diventa Istruttore subacqueo dopo aver collezionato migliaia di immersioni in Italia e all’estero.
Appassionandosi sempre di più alla fotografia subacquea, decide di creare una comunità di fotografi subacquei, inserendo le photo gallery di tanti grandi fotosub nel sito web /blog: www.uwphotographers.net
E riscontra un grande successo dalla stragrande parte di tutti i fotografi subacquei del mondo e diventa un punto di riferimento dove guardare i vari stili di tecniche fotografiche e la bellezza dei posti e delle creature nei vari angoli del pianeta.

Grande appassionato di viaggi e avventure... Negli ultimi anni ha esplorato i fondali delle Filippine, Indonesia, Florida, Messico (Yucatan e Baja California), Mar Rosso, Malta, Canarie, Croazia e tante varie isole e siti d'immersione italiani...
Nel 2016 inizia la collaborazione con il suo grande amico Toni Palermo (istruttore di immersioni subacquee e fotografo), nella creazione di un associazione subacquea di nome ETNA DIVERS (www.etnadivers.com) , e si occupano di impartire corsi subacquei, corsi di fotografia subacquea, escursioni subacquee e sull’Etna e viaggi subacquei.
E fra gli obiettivi principali hanno a cuore la tutela e la salvaguardia del mare e dei suoi abitanti, occupandosi spesso di rimuovere reti da pesca abbandonate che continuano a pescare e mietere vittime.
