After his first dive, he fell in love with the reef and decided to open a dive shop named ‘Reef Raiders Dive Shop’ which lasted successfully over twenty years.
During that time, he specialized in dive charters to the Dry Tortugas and the Tortugas Banks. His passion for underwater photography started in the Seventies with his first camera Rolleimarin and after with Nikonos 2, 3 and 5.
Back then, digital photography was unthinkable!
Today, as a seaplane commercial pilot he explores the reef from above, looking for new places and then come back with his camera.
