UWP: JOAO PAULO CAUDURO FILHO

João Paulo Cauduro Filho
Graduated as a lawyer, I do scuba diving and underwater photography as a hobby. I started it in 1998 in order to record marine life and the various places that I had dived.
Through photography,I aim to show the beauty that exists in the underwater world to those who do not dive - I believe that only having the knowledge of what there is in the sea we can instruct a greater number of people about its real importance. I have already cooperated with articles for magazines in Spain and Argentina, with some Brazilian dive places awareness, I am currently a contributor for Revista Mergulho (Brazilian Diving Magazine). I have taken part in national competitions, and won the Underwater photography GP of Brazil in 2010, and two time champion of Brazilian Underwater photography competition (2010 and 2012), currently holding the top position in Brazilian national ranking. I was among the top ten in the CMAS 14th Underwater Photography World Championship held in Cayo Largo (Cuba), where I got a bronze medal in the wide-angle with model category.
My current equipment: Nikon D800 with housing NAUTICAM; 105mm lens nikon, tokina 10-17mm and Sigma 17-70mm; Strobes Inon Z-240
