UWP: JOAO PAULO KRAJEWSKI










































João Paulo Krajewski was graduated from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil, with a degree in Biological Sciences and ever since dedicated his career to science, photography and filming. In 2010 he concluded his PhD in ecology, at Unicamp, studying ecology of manire fishes. During his career as a scientist, he took part in many expeditions to places such as the Fernando de Noronha Archipelago, Abrolhos Archipelago and the Biological Marine Reserve of Arvodero, in Brazil; Lizard Island and Keppel Islands, in Australia, and in the Fiji Islands.
Along with his work as a scientist, João traveled to more than 20 countries to photograph and film nature. His photographs are published in several magazines, books and websites around the world. Currently, João is a contributing author and photographer for the magazine “Terra da Gente” in Brazil. As videographer, João has produced several images for TV shows broadcasted by the largest TV channel in Brazil, the “Rege Globo”, and currently hosts a segment of the live show “Domingão do Faustão” called “Domingão Aventura” where, along with his coleges Lawrence Wahba and Haroldo Palo Jr., produces and presents videos about wildlife around the world.

João’s main objective is to increase awareness about science and nature conservation trhought his videos and photographs.
